Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving here, the kids were able to see both grandparents! We spent Thanksgiving with my parents, and then the Brazeltons came in for the Tech/Baylor game at Cowboys Stadium.  Here are some pics before lunch at the club.  Grady ate 1.5 PB&J sammies, 2 chicken fingers, fruit, a huge bowl of strawberry ice cream and a giant marshmallow.

They had so much fun, and then it was time to be done.

Here are some of Caleb, proving that I am being a good mom and taking pics of my second kiddo. He lurves his thumb these days.

He also loves his Exersaucer and is getting really good about standing and playing. Grady also loved that yellow bird. They both have sucked on the blue feather on his head.

The house is looking good, here is an update pic.

We are heading to Iowa in a week and a half, this will be Bryan, Caleb and Grady's first time there. I am sure the cold weather will be a shock to all of us.  We can't wait to see the whole family!

Minions and One Large Baby

I took Caleb to the doctor for his 4 month check up today, and like Grady, he is huge.  He is 27 1/4 in long (95th percentile) and 16lbs 11 oz (75th percentile) for weight.  Everything else checked out good, but he does sleep a little less than an average 4 month old baby.  He is only going 6 hours for his longest stretch and the average is 8.  I am hoping that changes soon, hint hint kiddo.

Here are some pics of the kiddos as minions for Halloween.

 Papa and Caleb
How cute are my kids?  I know I am biased, but oh well, they are adorable! Also, how fat is C?

Here is the whole gang...

How cute are they? 20 seconds after this, Brock jetted, he was like, I am sooo over holding this baby.

I was going to add another pic of the house, it is framed and decked, but Bryan deleted it.  I will post one next week.  We do our electrical walk through next week.  I feel like I have never had to make so many decisions in my life as I have with this house!

Also, apparently Grady has a girl at school who lurves him, I think her name is Gracie.  Apparently she always wants to play with him.  He seems indifferent, and I have never heard her name, so we may have some more time until he thinks girls are cool. I feel phew about this.

Its Almost Halloween...

... And it is spooky here, just kidding.  It is sleepy and smells like spit up and poop.  The boys are going to be minions from Despicable Me, here is a preview.

Caleb is good, he is still getting up once a night between 2 and 3.  I keep asking him to sleep longer, but for some reason he doesn't listen to his mommy. He LOVES his exersaucer and jumperoo and HATES laying down.  I think he is already trying to catch up with the bigger boys.

Today we all went to Jump Around and then a pizza buffet in Lake Worth.  For 25 bucks we fed everyone and the boys went nuts!

Here is the end of our pig out!
Then came the crash...

The house is coming along, here is a pic from wednesday. Since then we have more walls and roof.  We might actually move in someday!

I will post more pics from Halloween after next week.

The End of Summer

Two months have gone by with our sweet Caleb and it has FLOWN BY! We have finally gotten him straightened out with formula and medicine, so he is feeling a ton better.  There was a brief phase where he was sleeping through the night, but then we switched him to his crib and he now wakes up once a night again.  Boo.  I can't believe how big he has gotten, he has grown out of his Miracle Blanket swaddle.  He is now in a "Big Baby" Woombie and hates it.  Like his Daddy, he isn't a big fan of change.  He loves his exersauser bcause he loves to stand and sit.  He isn't a huge fan of laying down.  I don't know if it is because of his reflux, or he is just trying to catch up to Grady.

G is great, he is talking up a storm and I think most people can understand him at this point.  He was a ring bearer at 2 weddings, and he looked ADORABLE!  Congrats Camille and Aaron, and Ruben and Jamie!  He knows all his colors, can count to 14, and we have actual conversations. He is also really playing by himself, his cars fall down, fly like planes and get sad and cry.  It is so cool to see him as he grows up.

Bryan was able to go to the Ryder Cup with his brother and dad, and he had a fabulous time!  Even if America lost.  It was my first time I had the kids by myself and since it was the brief time where Caleb was sleeping through the night, it was so do-able.

Here are pics of Caleb's 3m photo shoot.

So cute, right!

Check out how much Caleb looks like G did. This is G at 4m.

Here are some pics of G lately.

That's how we roll here... pantsless.

He is too cool for Pablo.

 With Great Cuteness...

 Comes Great Tantrums.

I have some videos I will post next time. Much love from our family to yours!

Well, it has been forever, sorry guys, but I have some pictures of our new addition! Caleb John Brazelton was born at 12:50 on July 2nd.  He was 6lbs, 8oz and 19 inches long.  CJ came 2 weeks early because he had low amniotic fluid, so we decided he would be better growing out than in.  We had a day of decision for Grady as well, but in his case the decision was made for a c-section at 10a and he came at 4:30.  Because of this, we all thought we had a lot of time.  Turns out we were wrong!  The decision was made for a c-section at about 10:45 and I was in surgery at 12:30.  Bryan really had to rush back to the hospital from his territory.  For everyone that doesn't know, Bryan got a promotion at work, and he is now in outside sales for Contech. I am so proud of him!

We both did great in the hospital, and came home that week.  At his first appointment the next monday, he was back to his birth weight and more at 6lbs, 9oz!  Because of that, we don't have to go back in until his month appointment next week.  Here are some pics of the little guy.
 Right after C was born.
Back in our room.

Caleb's first official photo shoot. Grady never got one of these due to his breathing issues.
 CJ sleeping on Bryan.
 CJ sleeping on mom
CJ just flat out sleeping.
 Caleb's first bath.
It is soooo tiring being a newborn!
 Such a cute smile!!
Not super happy about tummy time.

So far Caleb is not a great sleeper, so we are trying to figure out what his deal is.  We have him on reflux meds and that is helping a little.  The poor guy just has a hard time getting to sleep at night.

So far Grady has been pretty okay with the new baby, I think it is because Caleb does not steal his food or toys.  That is really Grady's biggest no no. Here are some pics of the oldest man, G.

The twins got a bounce house for their 3rd birthday and G LOVES it.
Isn't he so big?  I can't believe this is my baby.
The Newbys came to visit this weekend and Chloe Bear and Grady Cakes in matching jammies.  How cute are they?
Dad took Grady to the mall for his saturday morning excursion, he got to ride the carousel for the first time. SO much fun.

Grady is learning so much these days, it is amazing to watch.  On thursday he walked up to his teacher Miss Ashley, and said, "Miss Ashley, you do a good job."  How adorable is that?  A full sentence and he is very complementary! Right now we are working on being helpful, and he likes to help B and I unload and load the dishwasher, and put his plates and silverware in the sink.  He definitely has a 2 year old opinion.  Hell hath no fury like a toddler told no, but he always makes up for his tantrums with his super cute face and sweet laugh.  He still has the sweetest laugh on the planet and I hope that never changes. He LOVES the movie Cars, Lightning McQueen and Mater and he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES swimming and jumping into the pool. When the Newbys were here yesterday the boys spent literally 3 hours jumping off the diving board, swimming to the side and getting out.  They were all sun burned and exhausted last night.  It was a good day to be a toddler.
