We both did great in the hospital, and came home that week. At his first appointment the next monday, he was back to his birth weight and more at 6lbs, 9oz! Because of that, we don't have to go back in until his month appointment next week. Here are some pics of the little guy.
Right after C was born.
Back in our room.
Caleb's first official photo shoot. Grady never got one of these due to his breathing issues.
CJ sleeping on Bryan.
CJ sleeping on mom
CJ just flat out sleeping.
Caleb's first bath.
It is soooo tiring being a newborn!
Such a cute smile!!
Not super happy about tummy time.
So far Caleb is not a great sleeper, so we are trying to figure out what his deal is. We have him on reflux meds and that is helping a little. The poor guy just has a hard time getting to sleep at night.
So far Grady has been pretty okay with the new baby, I think it is because Caleb does not steal his food or toys. That is really Grady's biggest no no. Here are some pics of the oldest man, G.
The twins got a bounce house for their 3rd birthday and G LOVES it.
Isn't he so big? I can't believe this is my baby.
The Newbys came to visit this weekend and Chloe Bear and Grady Cakes in matching jammies. How cute are they?
Dad took Grady to the mall for his saturday morning excursion, he got to ride the carousel for the first time. SO much fun.Grady is learning so much these days, it is amazing to watch. On thursday he walked up to his teacher Miss Ashley, and said, "Miss Ashley, you do a good job." How adorable is that? A full sentence and he is very complementary! Right now we are working on being helpful, and he likes to help B and I unload and load the dishwasher, and put his plates and silverware in the sink. He definitely has a 2 year old opinion. Hell hath no fury like a toddler told no, but he always makes up for his tantrums with his super cute face and sweet laugh. He still has the sweetest laugh on the planet and I hope that never changes. He LOVES the movie Cars, Lightning McQueen and Mater and he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES swimming and jumping into the pool. When the Newbys were here yesterday the boys spent literally 3 hours jumping off the diving board, swimming to the side and getting out. They were all sun burned and exhausted last night. It was a good day to be a toddler.
