Weekend Fun & Mothers Day
Well this weekend came quickly, and Sara found herself getting to go with her mom and Sis to San Antonio for a little well deserved pampering. therefore I was to be home with the Grady by myself...sorta. My parents came into town (convenient coincidence) so we planned a long fun time. Also my dad and I were going to the Rangers game so luckily my mom got to spend quality alone time with the G-Man. Perfect for any mothers or grandmothers day, I would imagine.
I mean come on, who couldn't want to spend time with that little buddies smiling mug? No one. Anyway we had a good day on Saturday. Stayed around the house enjoying just chilling. I snuck out for a bit to go get some mothers day items but other than that we just hung.
As you can see Grady and Grammy enjoyed hanging out in our front yard. It was windy but beautiful.
On Sunday we went to the Masonic Home to see my Grandad. He was in good spirits as well. Even though he admitted he couldn't see anymore. But as usual Grady is there to lighten up any mood and just be adorable.
Thats a very happy man with his great grandson. Not sure if you can see the name tag that says Bodine or not? But Grady found that to be quite amusing, and just loved pulling on it. After Grandad we went and had a proper Mothers Day lunch at the fabulous Rudys BBQ! What every mother deserves on Mothers day (in my opinion). As you can see the Gradster was enjoying his meal thoroughly.
After that the rest of the day was spent awaiting Saras arrival to spend mothers day with her. I made a chocolate chip cake for Sara, and we gave a few bites to Frindo....BAD IDEA. That sugar got him all kinds of amped up before bed. Ohhh well live and learn.
Happy belated mothers day to all you moms out there. Thank you for all you do.

Weekend
Well this was a long weekend for the clan. I (Bryan) took friday off to surprise Sara, and help out with Grady. I was supposed to go up to Arkansas for a majority of the week. Unfortunately due to massive flooding in Northern Arkansas, I had to postpone my trip. Please as a side note pray for the people up there, as they are dealing with this huge issue, that is shutting down highways and roads all over. So it ended up just being a fun day off with my wonderful family. These were taken friday and saturday night. We do put clothes on him...I swear, but he's such a messy eater he gets the diaper only treatment after dinner. Anyway, he's so cute smiling and looking guilty for something, not sure what, but something.
We got to watch some of the OU/Texas baseball game on Saturday, and I tried to make him as baseball appropriate as possible. Sadly OU dropped 2 of 3 in the series, to the shorthorns. Below you will see Gradster is wearing his Texas Rangers Josh Hamilton shirt. He's a future ball player thats for sure, and its not very often you catch him in a picture without a ball. He's also little climber, and is always trying to climb up in my lap.
But he's cute, and I don't mind. Grady also does a fair job of acting funny..or goofy, your call. He's alot like his daddy in that way, though. I encourage it, because life is way to short to be serious all the time. People who laugh, and are jovial, have a proven longer life span than those who don't. So I want him to be as crazy and goofy as he can be, and bring joy and humor to those all around him.

Grady loves, LOVES pillows. As you can see.
I get it, pillows are soft, and comfortable. It makes sense. However it is still really cute to see him lay his little head on the pillow.
The little buddy hasn't been feeling well the last two days, Sunday and Monday, hoping he's just getting some more teeth in, but with these little carrier monkeys its anyones guess really.
Strangely enough its raining here in Dallas and is a chilly 47 degrees outside. Did I mention its May 2? Usually we start bracing for 100+ temps about now, but I guess these storms have something else in mind. Weve heard the tornado sirens by our house twice in the last week. Once was because of high winds, and the other wasn't really explained by the news. Still the storms have been very violently loud this spring. Don't mind Grady though, he just sleeps on through it.
All in all a great weekend. I would like to thank Jennifer for helping me out on Friday by keeping Grady for a few hours so Sara and I could go see the greatest action movie of all time (until the next one comes out)...Fast Five. Its epic, and the Rock was awesome in it. Anywho, thanks Jenn.
So whenever B dresses Grady he ends up with a sports item on. See below.
Have a great week, and take care.
